At Mount Manresa on Staten Island, one can see clearly, stroll a rustic landscape, and pray in the warmth of a traditional chapel. Recommended Reading
Each participant is requested to obtain and read a copy of Doing Justice: Congregations and Community Organizing by Dennis A Jacobsen. This book, available on line for about $14 from Amazon, will enable you to understand more quickly the organizing concepts used in the training.
Fees
Registration, including housing, meals and materials:
- Single occupancy: $250.00 registration (includes cost of single room; double occupancy upon request at same individual price).
- Commuter housing: $200.00 registration (meals / materials, no housing costs)
- Scholarship: $50.00 registration (scholarship of $200.00) available upon request to cover registration. Travel is on your own or up to local hosts. Written information of need should accompany registration via email to grassroots@lcna.org or postal mail to LC/NA, PO Box 4707, Saint Paul, MN 55104.
Donations for sponsorship of a scholarship ($200.00) or portion thereof ($10.00–$190.00) for this or another RIC Leadership Training will be gladly accepted. Please mark on registration form.
Cancellation fee $25. No refunds after November 8, 2007.
