Other Housing OptionsLimited host housing is possible on a first-come, first-served basis. Every effort to assist with transportation to and from the church will be made, but cannot be guaranteed. Participants requesting host housing should check the box on the registration form indicating that request. If needed, ground transportation to and from host family homes will be provided. AirportIf traveling by air, we recommend that you fly into Oakland (OAK). Once you arrive at the airport, take the Air-BART shuttle bus to the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station. The Air-BART shuttle leaves every ten minutes from a single shuttle stop for both terminals, conveniently located between Terminal 1 and 2 at OAK's third curbside. The fare is $3, payable in exact change only on the shuttle bus. When you arrive at Coliseum/Oakland Airport station, purchase a ticket (one-way fare to Hayward is $2.15) and proceed to the Fremont platform. Take the Fremont-bound train south three stops to the Hayward station, approximately 12 minutes. With advance notice of your arrival date and time, we can arrange for you to be picked up there and taken to either the hotel or the church. When booking your flights, please plan to arrive no later than 10 a.m. on the 23rd, and book your departure after 5 p.m. on the 25th. To arrange pick-up from the Hayward BART station, please call Pepper Swanson at 510.582.9533. FoodMeals will be nutritious and tasty. Please note dietary restrictions on your registration form.
