* Congregations just beginning conversation about explicit welcome for LGBTQ people and their families. * Congregations who may be Reconciling in Christ but are looking to renew, refresh or deepen their welcome and conversation about welcome * Congregations who may be engaging conversation about marriage/blessing policies * Congregations or individuals who might be willing to be further equipped to assist other congregations in site or issue-specific training aspects Participants will be equipped with a tool-kit for assessing the congregational timeline and readiness, and trained in graceful engagement techniques that would be helpful for any congregational conversations that involved deep listening and reconciling. SPECIAL NOTE: This training is part of an entire weekend of Welcoming events held in Columbia, SC, including a showing of the film Bullied, a preaching workshop, and festival worship.
