Lutherans Concerned /
Cleveland Congrats & Thanks Lutherans Concerned/North
The primary purpose of Lutherans
Concerned/North America (hereinafter “LC/NA” or “Lutherans Concerned”) is
charitable, educational and religious in order to: unite gay, lesbian, bisexual and
transgendered (GLBT) people, their families and their supporters within the
Lutheran churches for affirmation, support, counsel and communication; promote Christian growth and
wholeness; persuade the Lutheran churches to
face honestly, aggressively and forthrightly the questions and needs of gay,
lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people; cooperate with other religious and
secular groups of similar purpose; and work with the Church in proclaiming
the Christian Gospel of love, joy, justice and reconciliation to all gay, lesbian, bisexual and
transgendered people everywhere. Lutherans Concerned does not seek or
intend to become another Lutheran denomination, but understands its role as a
sign of hope and an instrument of support and reform within the Lutheran
churches. Contact Website: www.lcna.org Officers: Dirk Selland and Jeannine Janson,
